
PERCUSSION


REQUIRED SUPPLIES
Percussion is different from the other band instruments. Students will be performing on quite a bit of school-owned equipment. This includes mallet instruments (bells, xylophone, marimba, vibraphone, chimes), Drums (snare drum, bass drum, toms, timpani), and Auxiliary instruments (triangle, bells, suspended cymbal, crash cymbals, tambourine, and many more). Students are required to have a percussion kit that includes a set of bells and a drum pad. In addition, students need a stick bag that includes snare sticks, timpani mallets, yarn mallets, and hard rubber mallets.
