This is a school owned instrument. Student is to pay a $20 fee each semester. In addition, each student will need the following items:

GMEA Honor Band / All-State Audition Information

  • Major Scales (These must be memorized and played in order exactly as they are written on this paper.)

  • Chromatic Scale (This must be memorized and played in any rhythmic pattern up and down.)

  • Lyrical Etude (Not by memory)

  • Technical Etude (To be performed at the second audition for region band and all-state if you score 70 or higher.)

  • Sight Reading

  • Lyrical Etude Video
