Marching Band Spring Trip

April 2-4, 2026

The Wayne County High School Marching Band has been invited to march in the STARS Parade at Universal Studios.  The cost of the trip for each individual student/chaperone is $875.  This amount includes the following:

• 2 night's lodging at a hotel near Universal Studios with breakfasts included (4 students to a room)

• 3 day / 3 park admission to Universal Studios / Islands of Adventure / and Epic Universe

• 3 lunch meal vouchers

• 2 dinners

• STARS Parade Performance

• Admission to Pirates Dinner Adventure - dinner and show

• Personalized badge and lanyard

• Keepsake video and travel app

• Coach bus transportation

Students will follow the payment schedule below.  Payments can be made online through Cut Time, by bringing a check to the band room made out to WCHS Band, or cash.  Any money brought to the band room will be submitted to the money box in an envelope with the child's name and what you are paying for written on the envelope. 

• September 2, 2025 - $150 Non-refundable deposit

• October 1, 2025 - $150

• November 3, 2025 - $150

• December 1, 2025 - $150

• January 5, 2026 - $150

• February 2, 2026 - $125​​

To attend this trip, students must meet the following criteria:

• A member of the marching band for the entire 2026-2026 season including all games, competitions, and parades.

• Winds and percussion must be enrolled in band classes BOTH fall 2025 and spring 2026 semesters. 

• Guard / Majorettes must attend the after school rehearsals preparing for the parade performance. 

• Students who are removed from band and school due to disciplinary issues cannot attend.  Please see the refund policy. 

Refund policy:

September 1 - the deposit is non-refundable.  This amount is used to reserve tickets and all reservations. 

December 19, 2025 - Prior to this date, you can receive a refund (minus the non-refundable deposit).  After this date, absolutely no refunds.

All students who would like to attend should click HERE to sign up.  Once you sign up, Mrs. Hursey will add the bill to your Cut Time account.  Please allow at least 2 business days.
